About v2rayNew
Project Overview
Guidance on downloading clients, importing subscriptions, and configuring routing.
About This Site
v2rayNew is an independent guide to using V2Ray clients. It covers platform choices, subscription groups, and routing for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG, with a central download page. We are not the official maintainers of these open-source projects and do not provide nodes or subscription services. Choose your client and connection service separately.
Project V and Its Core Projects
Project V is an open-source ecosystem built around network proxy tools. The V2Fly community continues to maintain the V2Ray core, while Xray-core is a separate core project developed from related code. Their features and configurations evolve independently. Graphical clients manage subscriptions, settings, and runtime behavior; the core handles connections and routing. A setting in the interface is not necessarily supported in the same way by every core.
How We Maintain Our Guides
Download pages prioritize source verification, platform and architecture compatibility, and link availability. Tutorials are based on repeatable hands-on testing, distinguish system proxy settings from TUN mode and routing rules, and specify when each applies. Interface labels may change between releases, so check them against your current client. If a step looks different, start with the FAQ or check the setup guide.
Responsible Use
This site is for technical learning and configuration reference; it does not guarantee connection quality or security. Follow the laws and regulations where you live, your network’s policies, and your service provider’s terms. Check configuration sources before importing them, keep subscription URLs and access credentials secure, and remove sensitive information before sharing logs or screenshots.
